Time waits for no man (no matter how successful they were at IBC 2017!)
I don’t know about you, but the past month has flown by since IBC 2017 shut its doors for another year; but just because the show is over doesn’t mean our work is, something we at InnoWave know all too well!
However, as the dust has finally begun to settle upon another fantastic show, we’ve taken the opportunity to reflect upon IBC 2017. Digital technology innovators and professionals came together at Amsterdam’s RAI once more for five days of showcasing, testing, examining, and exploring the latest technological advances and insights into the future of broadcast innovation.
It is undeniable that 2017 (despite the intermittent rain showers) was a stand-out year at IBC across the board. The exhibition celebrated it’s 50th anniversary, launching new initiatives, hosting exciting new technologies, and welcoming a record-breaking 57,699 visitors and over 1,700 exhibitors.
This year’s IBC proved to be just as inspiring and innovative for InnoWave and the InnSpect team too; not only did we have the largest headcount in attendance to date, but with a steady stream of visitors to the stand and over 50 live demos presented, it was the busiest year for us yet!
Our time in Amsterdam was primarily focused toward showcasing the new InnSpect features deployed over the past year, based up on previous customer feedback. This proved to be a resounding success, and was met with a notably positive response from both existing and new clients; Our rapid developments were well received, and customers that had visited us at the show previously since asked for PoCs.
Over the course of IBC, InnSpect had more than 100 active customer engagements exploring test automation needs and other special requirements. Our new 3rd party integrations that enable more complex end-to-end scenario design were highly appreciated, as was the fact that InnSpect now allows for developers to promote more stable releases via the new Web API for Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines.
All in all, 2017 was a year of innovation for InnSpect; innovation that ultimately has solidified the InnSpect brand, promoting awareness, and directly addressing our client’s requirements in test automation. IBC presented us with the opportunity to discuss these aspects face to face with customers, who both compared us to competitors in terms of tool user friendliness and functionality, and also challenged us to further prove our development capability and flexibility.
InnSpect has proved once again that we are able to follow new test trends and necessities, incurring excellent feedback throughout IBC2017, solidifying us as futureproof in terms of new test and business.
